After a week-long exploration of the Leeward Islands and a visit to Jamaica - the miniature Africa situated right in the middle of the Caribbean - we eventually reached Cuba. There, 50 years after the victorious ending of the revolution, we observed the slow agony of the collapsing marxist economy. Within the 16 days of our journey we met Jamaican rastamen, explored the heart of reggae, attended the sites of worship of the Cuban Revolution and danced to the hot salsa rhythms in Havana.
